Counselling

Counselling is known by many as the healing process. It is talking about a person’s issues, motivating them to express their feelings and help them understand what is happening, clients can experience dramatic chagne in their perceptions and find new ways of being holistically healthy. Confidentiality is essential for clients to feel safe enough to share their thoughts, behaviours and feelings.

Sometimes people find it difficult to struggle alone with difficult issues. They need to talk to someone who will listen to them. Counseling can help with many issues you might be facing. After an initial phone call where we can arrange to meet, we will have an assessment interview. This session is free. It’s a chance for us to get to know one another better and evaluate whether we can work together and start a course of counseling. .

The counselor is trained to be able to listen very accurately and to notice body language and other non-verbal clues to what is going on in you.

The counselor respects your autonomy, mainly because he or she knows you can enjoy beneficial change only when you truly desire it, and you are determined to work together to achieve it.
